August 19, 2025 – UN News. Nearly 2,000 deaths in food distributions, including over 1,000 at sites of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

“According to the services of High Commissioner Volker Türk, obtaining the meager available provisions can be a deadly undertaking in the besieged enclave. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded 1,857 fatalities between May 27 and August 17, including 1,021 near the sites of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, supported by Israel and the United States, and 836 others on routes used by aid trucks.”
